3D Stage

Proscenium Arch - the arch over the opening to the stage, provides us with stage left/right wings
Front of House Tabs (Grand Drape) - opens/closes when the show begins/finishes
Legs - mask the wing spaces and frame the stage
Borders - mask the roof, rigging, etc. and frame the top of stage
Backdrop - can be painted or just general filled cloth
Cyclorama - a slightly curved drape at the back of the stage, the curve gives the feel of infinity if lit well
* Teaser - border just upstage of proscenium arch
* Tormentor - leg just upstage of proscenium arch
* Gauze (Scrim) - stage curtains for moody effects with lighting, lit front = 'solid' curtain, lit behind = 'invisible' curtain
* Groundrow - low flat scenery, often horizon, hides base of backdrop or cyclorama
